This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where reliable, secure, and resilient infrastructure is essential to the success of the mission.You will administer, configure, and manage servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and network infrastructure to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software, and system specifications. You will play an important role in ensuring the availability, performance, security, and integrity of the infrastructure supporting the customer’s mission.This role is well suited for someone who wants to take ownership of critical infrastructure, work alongside experienced technical teams, and contribute directly to a mission where technical excellence, reliability, and security matter every day.Responsibilities:Infrastructure Administration & Support:Administer and manage IT infrastructure including servers, storage systems, virtual platforms, and network connectivityAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with IT hardware and software infrastructure using systems analysis techniques and proceduresProvide system administration for assigned infrastructure and establish and maintain security as it relates to usersApply security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environmentConfiguration & Deployment:Configure and deploy Windows and Linux-based servers, workstations, and supporting infrastructureImplement and maintain virtualization platforms for various applications and servicesEstablish and maintain system configurations to meet technical and business requirementsSecurity & Compliance:Work closely with the cybersecurity team to maintain seamless system operations while adhering to security protocolsImplement security controls and access management for user systems and infrastructureEnsure compliance with established security standards and proceduresInfrastructure Projects & Documentation:Support new infrastructure projects from planning through implementationMaintain all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructureDevelop standard operating procedures, system configuration guides, and technical documentation Establish operational plans for technical areas and implement best practicesProblem Resolution & Analysis: Diagnose complex problems spanning servers, operating systems, storage, networking, and hardwareUse systems analysis techniques to ensure appropriate function of system specificationsProvide on-site and remote technical support to resolve infrastructure issuesCoordinate with various teams to resolve technical and operational challengesStakeholder Communication:Present system capabilities and infrastructure solutions to technical and business stakeholdersCommunicate with executive leadership on matters of technical importanceProvide feedback to improve infrastructure functionality and efficiencyQualifications:Required:Active Secret ClearanceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field5+ years of relevant experience in systems administration, infrastructure management, network administration, or a related technical disciplineStrong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot infrastructure hardware and software issuesDemonstrated experience supporting U.S. military, DoD, Intelligence Community, or other government customersStrong customer-facing communication and presentation skillsExtensive Linux and Windows server/workstation administration and troubleshooting experienceKnowledge of storage systems, backup solutions, and disaster recovery proceduresAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility and willingness to travel to customerDesired:Experience developing standard operating procedures, system configuration guides, and technical documentation.Experience establishing operational plans for technical areas and implementing best practices.Experience diagnosing complex problems spanning servers, operating systems, storage, networking, and hardware.Experience presenting system capabilities and infrastructure solutions to technical and business stakeholders.Experience coordinating with various teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.Experience with Linux and Windows server/workstation administration and troubleshooting experienceKnowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms)Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, firewalls, and network servicesExperience with security patch management, system hardening, and security compliance-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
